13+ Inspirational Illustrators

Illustration is a vast range of artwork and styles of drawing, painting and digital art, however, it remains that illustration is inspirational, for any field of art or design. I composed this list of illustrators to help you find inspiration, if you need it, or just become introduced to the different works of these artists. I begin with:

1. The Heads Of State - The Heads of State use a nice texture to add to their illustrations that already speak a clear message.

2. Dennis Juan Ma - A neat style of illustration, along with several humorous pieces of work make Dennis Juan Ma inspirational.

3. Yoshi Tajima - Yoshi Tajima’s covers many types of illustration and even covers graphic design. This artist’s work is inspiring and beautiful.

4. Jules - This artist exhibits a wonderful use of gradients and color which add much to her work.

5. Stina Persson - Stina Persson uses watercolors and then photoshop to create an interesting texture and style that separate her work from other’s.

6. Stephane Tartelin - Stephane Tartelin’s work is both beautiful and awe inspiring. This particular piece below is one of my favorite pieces of artwork.

7. Setup85 - Setup85 produces mainly monochromatic work, however uses negative space brilliantly, producing quality and highly detailed work.

8. Nanami Cowdroy - I’ve already featured her work, but I think it fitting to feature it in this list, since it is about illustration. Her style is truly unique.

9. Marcos Chin - Marcos Chin has many pieces of illustration, however, continues to produce quality and entertaining work.

10. Kelly Ording - This artist uses chooses traditional rather than digital methods of illustration, and it paid off.

11. Drew Flaherty - This artist produces fantastic work, with incredible detail.

12. Espira - This artist uses detail and digital techniques to make interesting illustrations.

13. Amy Sol - Amy Sol’s work is truly spectacular. She uses one reappearing character in a variety of fantastic backgrounds, all using only acrylic on wood.
